We stopped in Amarillo, TX to see the Cadillac Ranch, a public art installation and sculpture created in 1974. Visitors are encouraged to spray paint the Cadillac's so they are always changing.

We stopped at Famous Dave's BBQ for dinner because of a local's recommendation. It was one of the best BBQ's we ever had. One of the other great BBQ restaurants was also in Texas. It was Cooper's Pit Bar B Que, in Llano, which our friend's Paul and Kimberly introduced us to.
